Kevin Adams obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina and his Maters of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from East Carolina University.
Mr. Adams is currently a Laboratory Research Analyst I whose research in our laboratory focuses on observing how the nervous system develops along with what genetic or environmental factors can lead to abnormalities or degeneration within the system. In the past, he has utilized behavioral observation, direct neuron visualization, and molecular analysis to see these abnormalities.
Mr. Adams' research activities is conducted under the guidance and mentorship of Nicholas Katsanis, PhD, in the Katsanis' laboratory located in the Carmichael Building on Duke Unversity's campus in Durham, North Carolina.
