Theresa Curington received her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health Education from North Carolina Central University.
As the Center's Clinical Research Coordinator, Mrs. Curington will be supporting our Genetics Counselor Azita Sadeghpour and play a key role on the Recruitment Team for the Duke Task Force for Neonatal Genomics (see www.dukegenes.org). The focus of the Recruitment Team is to enroll families who have a child with congenital abnormalities for subsequent genetic analysis by whole exome sequencing. Part of her job will be coordinating the introduction to the study, gathering sample collections and shipping/receiving them, data management of the samples and IRB documentation for studies.
