Support Us

Make a Lasting Impact

The Center receives much of its funding from the federal government in the form of grants and awards from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).  These grants are awarded based on the scientific merit of research as decided by governmental review.  Aside from governmental funding, the Center has also received funding from other institutions including:  Foundation Fighting Blindness Research, Macular Vision Research Foundation and the Simons Foundation.

It takes a vast amount of effort to support the research that takes place at the Center and we are continually looking for new funding opportunities in order to continue the push for scientific and medical advancement.  Your gift is a powerful endorsement of collaborative and interdisciplinary approaches to our research.  Help us recruit the best and brightest new faculty, sponsor pioneering interdisciplinary research, bring a prominent speaker to the Center, or enrich the mission of the Center.

Any gift can be designated in memory or honor of a friend, family member, faculty member, business associate, community leader, organization or remain anonymous.
